The FNB Joburg Art Fair is Africa’s leading art fair focused on contemporary art from the continent and diaspora. Now in its tenth year, it continues to strengthen this position by presenting the finest of contemporary African art alongside memorable exhibitions and groundbreaking initiatives.
Gallery MOMO will be hosting three booths this year, exhibiting and featuring dynamic works from both our new and established artists. These include:
In the CONTEMPORARY section, at booth C12, we will be exhibiting the work of Stephané E. Conradie, Jonathan Freemantle, Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum, Roger Ballen and Khaya Witbooi
At the MODERN section, in booth M04, we will be presents an homage to South African masters with a period inspired installation.
And in the SOLO section, in booth S06, we will be showcasing new work from Sethembile Msezane.
In addition to the showcases, Sethembile Msezane will be speaking with moderator Pulane Kingston as part of the talks program at 16h00 on Saturday, 9 September at the Theater on Nelson Mandela Square. Roger Ballen will also be participating at a Book Signing at the Clarkes Books booth at 13h00 on Saturday, 9 September as well a hosting an open studio the same morning from 10h00 – 11h30.
