Usha Seejarim

 

Usha Seejarim was born in 1974 and currently lives and works in Johannesburg. She obtained a B-Tech degree in Fine Arts from Technikon Witwatersrand and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Witwatersrand.

 

Seejarim worked as gallery coordinator at Camouflage in 2000 and has a strong commitment to Arts Education having worked for the Curriculum Development Project (CDP), Technikon Witwatersrand, and Visual Arts And Crafts Academy (VACA). She has had four solo exhibitions and continues to participate in various group exhibitions and art projects locally and internationally. She works in various media including video, photography, installation and printmaking. 

 

Seejarim will present a solo exhibition at Gallery MOMO this year, from 09 October - 03 November.
